Querying Azure Diagnostics from Table Storage

If you have enabled Windows Azure Diagnostics for your Azure project, you get 4 Azure Tables, three of which contain meaningful diagnostic data (the 4th is used to track where logfiles were stored on the actual role instances). Using either the Storage Explorer built in to Visual Studio, or a 3rd Party tool like Azure Storage Explorer (make sure to download the newest version by going to the downloads page) you can then view this information.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are measurements used to gauge business performance against quantifiable goals. SQL Server Analysis Services provides functionality to define KPI calculations and associate KPIs to measure groups in a multidimensional cube.

Cross Country Skiing for Beginners

Three years ago Adam and I decided to purchase cross country skis. I had never skied before and Adam did downhill skiing during his childhood. After weighing pros and cons between Classic and Skate style skis, we decided to take the plunge and try out skate skiing. I’ve skate skied for two seasons now (last year we didn’t have much snow so I didn’t get out) and I still consider myself a beginner.

The following is an introduction to Cross Country Skiing (XC) as an off season activity for triathletes. I’ll go over a basic explanation of the two styles of cross country skiing, talk a bit about equipment and waxing, and finish up with how I use it for off season training.
